 Photos of pier construction

 

The hole is 10" in diameter at the top and 28" deep with the base 16" in diameter.

240 pounds of concrete was used in the base and 160 pounds was used in the pier.

The concrete part of the pier is 30" high and the metal pier extension adds 9" to the height

for a total of 39".
