A few of the club member's attempts at astrophotography

Kevin Rasso

Kevin got started in this whole amateur astronomy thing when his wife purchased the mighty Meade ETX 90 UHTC for Christmas 2003. He has become hopelessly addicted ever since. His current setup is a Meade 10” LX200 GPS SMT UHTC (SCT-one of the last on this mount) and a William Optics Zenith Star 80 ED II refractor. The main imaging camera is a QSI 532ws-M1 with a DSI Pro as the guider.

Chris Morrow

Chris has been looking through a lens since they invented them!  Well, probably not that long, but he knows a thing or two about photography.  So it was only natural that he would take his astronomy hobby to the next level.  His current setup is a Meade 10" Advance RC UHTC OTA and AstroTech 66 APO on the Orion Atlas GEM.  He uses a Canon 350D DSLR and a Meade DSI-C that he won from a raffle at MASP 2006!

Jim Ellett

Jim uses a FujiFilm S1000fd digital camera. His telescope is a Meade 8" Starfinder on a GEM.   He recently aquired a Clestron 11" CGEM, and looks forward to imaging with this platform soon!

Dean Glace

Dean uses a ST-2000XCM on a TMB/APM 152/1200mm refractor mounted on a Celestron CGE.  He also uses a 12" Meade LX200.
